This blog has been established to celebrate the life of Frank Sigurdson (March 31, 1931 - February 2, 2010).
Thank you for sharing these great pictures of Frank with us. I worked at Earl Grey with him from the time he started there until he retired. He was a wonderful principal to work for and brought the staff together in a way that makes the former staff still talk about those years as the 'best years of our teaching career". I am sad to learn of his suffering these past years and of his death. My deepest condolences to the family.

Looks like the Earl Grey gym Frank was walking in with the dignitary??? Gotta love that plaid jacket. I remember a very similar off white one of Frank's. It was one of his favorites.
ReplyDeleteTimes sure have changed now! These days those two rifles would have been confiscated long before they made their way into the school.
