It was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to Frank Sigurdson and laid him to rest on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Prayers were held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church on Monday evening, February 10, with Rev. Fr. Renato Pasinato presiding. Janine Lowes read from the Gospel and Norman Sigurdson read the general intercession during the service. Richard Sigurdson delivered a short eulogy.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, also at Christ the King Church with Father Pasinato presiding. Norman Sigurdson read the Gospel and Janine Lowes the intercession. Christopher Sigurdson delivered the eulogy. The service was followed by a luncheon reception in the Church Hall. It was wonderful to see so many family and friends come together to celebrate Frank's life and legacy.
Following the reception, Frank was interred in St. Vital City Roman Catholic Cemetery, 236 River Road, Winnipeg.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 2157 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, for the excellent and caring service provided. We also extend our appreciation to Father Pasinato and the staff at Christ the King Church, including the organist and the wonderful vocalist who helped make the service so beautiful. Finally, we thank CJL Caterers for the lovely reception food.
May Albert Franklin Sigurdson forever rest in peace.
